A deputy sheriff is recovering after being shot during an operation in Kapahulu this morning, where a barricade situation is underway. Alumni, community leaders, and their supporters came together at Iolani Palace to protest as a Virginia nonprofit is suing Kamehameha Schools over its admissions policy. And crews are back out in the waters off Kailua, hoping to find a missing canoe paddler.
