This Is Science... Sort Of

It has been a second since I released an episode. Christmas and the Holidays made me pretty busy and on top of that, the recording studio I had been using was having some technical malfunctions. I'm excited to be recording again even if it's just on a headset and hopefully, I can get back in the studio soon. The Nonexistent isn't technically a violation. It is just something that does not exist. There is not a guy out there that doesn't have a crush on someone. There's always a list. He might not be excited about the list but it is always there.

My roommate Spencer and I discuss his recent thoughts on women and the difference between group/single dates.

Men and women choose to connect in different ways. In general men base their relationships on physical connection more than emotional and women are the opposite.

These violations detail what happens when a man stays in the woman's blank space for too long and when a woman stays on a man's list for too long.

Jorja joins me for the show to explain her most recent relationship. We discuss the rollercoaster of becoming "official." There are many ups and downs but ultimately it can be worth it.

I have my friend Teryn on the show and we talk about a relationship she just got out of as well as one she is just getting into. We discuss how the blank space changes over time and how that might impact the friendzone.

Guys usually commit first but their initial commitment is a pretty shallow one. When the woman fills her blank space her commitment is deeper than the guy's commitment but eventually she will develop a super deep commitment and the guy has to decide if he will follow suit.

These violations occur among men and women but they occur for different reasons because we think differently. We live in a world of instant gratification and it can be easy to become these violations but it really isn't fulfilling.

I have my friend Kenidy on the show and we discuss how hard it is for guys to just be friends with girls. She also breaks down one of her current relationships and how she decides whether she wants to be more than friends with a dude.

In hypothesis episodes, I take a truth we have all seen in our dating lives and back up the truth with reasoning from the two theories. Men and Women cannot just be friends because we think differently about our relationships.
