Social media has been the downfall of many a poor businessperson. (And no, we're not talking about Mark Zuckerberg!)
Trying to get that coveted 500+ on LinkedIn is a waste of time.
Can you really have 3,000 "friends" on Facebook?
Unless you're Kanye West, do you actually think there are people, waiting with bated breath, for your next Tweet?
And Google+... uh.. well nevermind, nobody uses that, right? (j/k - I know one guy who does!)
You and your small-medium business are spending WAY too much time (and money) trying to get as many followers on social media as possible. And for most of you, it is a WASTE of time.. and money.
Do you really want people to see you as a 'social media butterfly', or do you want to earn the respect that comes with hard work; do you want to be known as a buttkicker?!?! (We are keeping this PG, so yeah, we said BUTTkicker!)
Listen along and decide if we're doing things right or wrong. More importantly, decide if YOU are doing things like you should!

Maybe you just need a pick-me-up after a bad week. Maybe you're thinking about selling your company. Before you do, listen to this podcast! Ryan Hulland responds to a business investor who wants to buy the family company.
With wit, a bit of humor, and a lot of determination, Ryan thinks through this major decision. Hearing what Ryan had to go through might help you, too. So, come along for the ride!

Rita Hulland is a technical saleswoman in a male-dominated industry, but that's never stopped her from going after success.
In fact, she just set an all-time high record for the largest order (contract) awarded to a 55 year old company.
Pretty nice, especially when you consider that company works around the world, can claim many Fortune 500 companies as clients, and works in some of the highest-tech industries around, from Pharmaceutical manufacturing, healthcare, IT and more.
In Part 2, we pick up where we left off, and talk about growing your business, whether it's an SMB, or you ARE the business (you're a solopreneur.)
Rita doesn't just talk the talk, she lives it and breaths it every day.
Listen in as we figure out what makes her so successful.

Stop Trying to be the Next Facebook or AIRBNB! Your Company Can Be HUGELY Successful and So Can You! And you don't have to be a 'unicorn'!
One of the big questions you should be asking yourself (and answering!) is "what does success mean to me?"
With the rise of huge social media platforms and other Internet mega-corps, it's hard to ignore the constant reporting on the next tech darling or keep track of how many billions of dollars FaceTwitGram is worth these days.
(To be fair, with the news coming out in early 2018 of possible collusion in government elections, perhaps these social media companies are not the best examples to use right now!)
In this episode, Part 2, we give away too much sensitive information while giving an example of how you can be hugely successful without trying to be a unicorn (or any other mythical figure, for that matter.)

Are You Smarter Than a Congressman? This One IT Cybersecurity Question Could SAVE Your Business! - THIS is Success Podcast - Ryan Hulland
Cyber-baddies have hacked and social-engineered their way into the biggest companies and highest levels of government imaginable.
If you own a business, run a business or work for a small-medium business, you might feel vulnerable. After all, if Equifax, Target and others can get hacked, it would be easy to hack your company, right?
Instead of a comprehensive lesson on IT and Cybersecurity for your business, this podcasts talks about a very common trend in the business technology industry. A trend that is useful, but leaves your business, and your livelihood, exposed to the online bad guys.
