Is it a bit odd to have the second-ever episode of a podcast be a Bonus episode that changes the format? Perhaps. But sometimes that's how the calendar works, because the day this is being released, January 31st, 2022, is the 10th anniversary of indie icon Mitski's debut album Lush, which she recorded and self-released in 2012 while attending SUNY Purchase College. On this episode I'm talking to recording engineer and producer of the album Scot Moriarty about our time working on Lush and reflecting on what it means to us on its 10th anniversary.

Mitski herself will be on the podcast next week following the release of her latest album Laurel Hell, so be sure to subscribe and tune back in for that!
