• Tesla (TSLA) - ARK Invest's Cathie Wood has purchased about $35 million in Tesla shares over the last three weeks. Three ARK exchange-traded funds (ETFs) own nearly $1 billion in Tesla shares.
• Target (TGT) - With Target shares down about 30% over the last month, CNBC's Jim Cramer said he would be a buyer of the stock Tuesday evening.
• Blue Owl Capital (OWL) - A play on alternative asset management. A Bank Of America analyst on Tuesday named the stock a play on alternative assets; the analyst also named Blackstone (BX) and Ares Management Corp. (ARES) as ways to play alternative assets.
• CYREN (CYRN) - A low-float play on cybersecurity. Shares were up 40% in pre-market action Wednesday following news the company entered into a deal with Content Services Group to sell all equity interests in its legacy secure email gateway business.
• JanOne (JAN) - Tuesday's low-float momentum du jour play. The stock closed up more than 60% following a patent for its method of improving nerve function. The issue has about 2 million shares in its float.
