As the restrictions changed rapidly throughout her experience, we hear about the impacts on her postpartum recovery, her baby's well being and how that has impacted her for months after the experience.

Hyperemesis Gravidum is a medical condition during pregnancy that involves severe vomiting and nausea. It may lead to multiple complications (dehydration, weight loss, ketosis). It is often treated with Diclectin (which is essentially an antihistamine and a form of  Vit. B6). Some times the treatment is effective, other times it is not. 

If you have experienced birth trauma, please reach out! There are professionals who are trained to walk with you through your healing process. 

Deborah Payge is originally from South Africa and is a very welcome addition to our wee island! She shares her four birth stories and what wild rides they were! 

Deborah is a delight for the level of consciousness and compassion she brings to both her births and her parenting and life in general. 

We talk birth stories, postpartum mood disorders and the power of surrender.
