This episode features Neil Park. Neil is an extraordinary character who has lived more than most Koreans, and so, we decided to do a two part series. In this, the first part, he describes his education, and family pressure to excel in school, in order to gain a “worthy” job. He sheds some shocking insight on what being a public school teacher was like early in his career. Then he goes on to discuss moving to Vietnam, with his wife, to work in an international school, having two children there, and the Vietnamese’s love, of all things Korean.

This episode features the one and only Nicole Sharkey. She is a young go-getter with a passion for travel, adventure, her puppy, and life in general. Nicole’s optimism is infectious and coupled with her hard work it has helped her explore several foreign countries working in various fields. This talk was great but we had slight audio troubles so it’s a bit on the robotic side. We tried to remedy it for over a month (hence the delay in release) but couldn’t fix it. Still totally listenable! Enjoy everyone, Miss Sharkey has a very bright future ahead of her!

This was a spicy Episode as the always funny, sometimes offensive Jeff "Coach" Young sat down to entertain us with his stories. This 20+ year vet has seen it all and doesn't hold back when it comes to sharing his experiences. This man has done it all and has paved the road for lots of us here in Ulsan. He mentioned that he'd like to be a regular on TKL, so have a listen and let us know what you think.
