This Lesbian Ship is Intense

Netflix cancelled teenage bounty hunters and we are UPSET. Sterling tries to find a new clique, Blair realizes Miles is hot, and we get an aptly timed story on the south twisting its racist history.

Sterling and April’s enemies to lovers journey starts strong with April’s conquest to dethrone Sterling from her reign as fellowship queen. Blair is making her way through 36 questions to know if he’s the one to bone. And Bowser just wants to do his job and self hydrate in peace.

We jump into the ridiculously absurd, wonderfully campy, and delightfully funny Teenage Bounty Hunters. We talk twins, the south, and Christian school as we recap episode 1!

We wrap up talking about season 1 of Betty and marvel at a season that tells stories empowering women and centers it’s heart around female friendships.

Covering episodes 3 and 4, in pursuing the truth about Donald we see a heated argument gone awry leading to the arrest of Camille, Honeybear, and Janay. Indigo has to decide on paying off her drug debt or bailing her friends out while Kirt is confronted with her privilege and the impact it has on her friends.

In this episode we set the season as the Bettys character arcs are introduced. Janay’s relationship with Donald starts to shift and Camille tries to impress Bambi. Kirt, Indigo, and Honeybear start to learn more about each other.

We introduce the Bettys to you. Janay and Camille chase after a yellow backpack, and Kirt gets close to Honeybear and Indigo.

Alice Wu returns as the master of longing. We discuss why we love a good coming of age story and the brilliance behind “The Half of It”. Ellie, Aster, Paul and Mr. Chu teach us how to love as they discover it for themselves.
