"Your quarterlife crisis is your greatest asset."
This is what I said to a student when I was asked about my mantra after we wrapped up the meeting. If you have been following my blog since I started it, you'll know that I still haven't changed my mantra until now. Not because I'm fixated on it, but rather, it's because the older I get, the more I find it true and become even more grateful for everything I've been through.
I debated with myself many times whether I should share this video or not for lots of reasons—one of them is because we recorded it back in August 2023 when I still thought Bloom in Crisis was a brand or a podcast (I later realized that it's not, but oh well, I didn't know what I didn't know! 🤪) It might seem trivial to many, but it was a huge shift for me once I internalized the essence of bloom in crisis myself.
Regardless, I still decided to publish it because I do believe this conversation about embracing pain and suffering is important to share, and I want to embrace my authentic journey, too 🙃
I hope that my sharing is helpful for you to reflect on your own journey in helping both yourself and others to build resilience and find success. Good luck! 🍀
Special thanks to Professor Kate Shea Kennon, Ed.D and Professor Linda Luca for organizing the event, and all the student attendees from Fordham Gabelli School of Business for engaging in the session 💖

Bloom in Crisis is the embodiment of hope—it is a belief, a practice, a way of life that empowers you to skillfully regulate emotions, build spiritual resilience, enhance self-awareness, unleash the potential of your mind, foster a grateful heart, cultivate joy, nurture positive energy, promote inner peace, grow self-compassion and compassion for others, embrace the present moment, derive wisdom from introspection, transform pain into grace, recognize positive possibilities even in adversity, and actively shape your narrative, ultimately leading to a happy and fulfilled life (with a touch of style).
Having experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating difficult times alone, Zip Nguyen began blogging when the pandemic struck in 2020, later expanding her efforts by launching a podcast and YouTube channel. Her unique style weaves spirituality, practicality, and beauty into a compelling tapestry. Driven by a profound desire to help others also bloom in crisis, Zip’s refreshing perspective, inventive techniques, and authentic storytelling spark deep reflection, cultivate heightened intuition, foster healing, expand consciousness, and nurture harmonious alignment between life decisions and the soul.
