Today is a historic day.

On this Hard Topic Tuesday, I’m officially announcing the death of the death grip — you know, that tight-fisted way we try to control outcomes, timelines, relationships, decisions, and sometimes entire imaginary futures that haven’t even happened yet.

Gone. Retired. Laid gently to rest. 🪦

In this episode, we talk about what it actually means to loosen your grip on the things you really care about (which, unfortunately, are always the hardest things to loosen your grip on). Not giving up. Not checking out. Just learning how to stop white-knuckling your life like you’re landing a plane you were never trained to fly.

There’s relief in it. There’s honesty in it. There’s also a little humor in realizing how exhausting it is to try to manage everything all the time.
