This morning we kicked things off by celebrating Miami’s big win — because we love a moment.

Then I made a little ask: tell me your name and what neighborhood you’re listening from.

The whole idea behind This Morning has always been “thanks for stopping by,” and it reminded me of my best friend’s mom who used to work at my fav coffee/donut shop — people would stop in, say hi, grab a coffee, and head out to start their day. That’s the vibe I want this to be.

We also got into something a little more real: the complicated relationships millennial daughters have with their moms.

Because… mine really pissed me off with a text this morning.

And yes, I’m talking about it while wearing a very silly shirt she bought me that says “BE” followed by a bunch of ridiculous words. Which honestly feels fitting.

A little community, a little chaos, a little honesty.
