This Morning: Opening Day, Boston Roots, and the Invisible String Between Them ⚾️✨
Opening Day in Cincinnati always feels like a holiday — the kind where the whole city wakes up together. Today, I’m thinking about what it means to love the Cincinnati Reds while still carrying a piece of Boston Red Sox history with me too. Being from Boston and building a life here in Cincy sometimes feels like living between two baseball stories at once.
So this morning, I’m following the idea of the invisible string theory — the quiet belief that certain places, people, and moments are connected long before we understand why. Maybe it’s the string that brought me from Fenway energy to Opening Day on the riverfront. Maybe it’s the one tying all of us to the cities that shape us. 🧵
We talk about hometown identity, choosing where you belong, and why baseball has a way of making those connections feel louder than usual.
If you want company, press play.
