This morning we talked about wild first date stories — the kind that are chaotic in the moment but later become the stories that make us laugh and remember we’re all just human figuring it out.
Inspired by my friend Kelsey, who went on a first date in California this weekend and ended up having her car towed mid-date. Not exactly the romantic ending she planned… but definitely a memorable one.
We also debriefed the Oscars, talked about some of the big winners, and shared a few movie recommendations if you’re looking for something good to watch.
Then we checked in on Cincinnati basketball, some big wins around the city, and the excitement building with March Madness right around the corner.
And of course we touched on the major news story from Friday — the car explosion on the 471 bridge that had a lot of people in the city talking.
A little pop culture, a little local news, and a reminder that sometimes the messy, unexpected moments in life are the ones that make the best stories later.
P.S. i did NOT go camping this weekend, too windy and wet.
If you want company, press play. 🎧
