Aaron welcomes Patricia Saylor, a local resident who’s helping organize a grassroots effort to recruit teachers to run for the General Assembly. It’s called “NC Educators on the Ballot” – and the idea is to find pro-public education candidates to run in Republican primaries, in non-competitive districts where the primary effectively determines the winner.
