Lollapalooza was absolute chaos… and I have A LOT to say.

From awkward conversations about pronouns, to heated discussions over abortion, to dealing with some of the rudest people I ran into all weekend, this festival had me questioning whether people have completely lost their minds. Don’t worry though—I still had an incredible time, and I’m breaking down everything that happened, the good, the bad, and the moments that had me rolling my eyes.

And somehow, we also end up talking about my love life… or lack of one. Am I finally ready to date again? Maybe. Then again, I really enjoy my peace, my freedom, and not having to explain myself to anyone. Dating sounds great… until I actually have to give someone my time.

I truly appreciated the time you gave me, but I realized I needed to step away and spend that time reconnecting with myself. That wasn’t about you—it was about where I am in my life.

Some people don’t break your heart, they break your peace. While I’m stuck sick in quarantine, I let the thoughts run and they all land in the same place: I’m done entertaining toxic relationships and fake friendships just to avoid being alone.
