It was a luxury and a necessity at the same time - a way to send information and a means by which supplies could be distributed throughout the nation. What's even more astounding though, that in the mid-19th Century, a package was delivered with a very heavy, fragile, and unexpected contents inside. It wasn't an ordinary delivery, and it isn't a typical day at the post office - it's a tale only history can conjure up - and it's today's second episode of Season 3!
