With Our Kid and Producer Ben off on their holidays, Jables hits The Majestic with guest host Barney. Mum is delighted!

Fancy listening to three people talk on and on about their favourite horror film? Then you've come to the right place! It's Our Kid's birthday, which means only one thing - classic horror.

Is there a worse verdict than 'it was fine'? This week's film neither adds to nor takes away from the genre and does little to offend any but the most ardent fans of the original classic. At least there's fun to be had with our side viewings of Ballerina and Lupin Part 3, plus Jables looks back on Ahsoka.

We're heading back to the Corn Exchange this week for everybody's favourite tale of time travel and weird family shenanigans. Join us for a fun filled ride, because if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.

Whilst we can agree on the joy of watching a film with stunning visuals that's not connected to an existing franchise, we can't decide whether this is flawed brilliance or derivative nonsense. Jables is also catching up on A Haunting in Venice and we're going old school British comedy with Dad's Army.

We're back, and so are Sister Irene and her creepy nemesis! Speaking of solidly spooky films, Our Kid and Producer Ben snuck out to watch A Haunting in Venice whilst Jables wasn't looking. We're also going back to the seventies with The Mechanic (original version) and shamelessly plugging the next instalment of Retro Reels.

Ahead of the game this week as we hit The Majestic for a preview of the final part of the avenger next door trilogy. Jables is also kicking off viewing of Ahsoka while Our Kid keeps it retro with a weekend viewing of 80s classic Beaches.

Derivative but not terrible, Blue Beetle would have entertained 10-year old Jables but doesn't do much for the grown ups - aiming at the wrong market, perhaps? We're also talking Heart of Stone and revisiting The Pale Blue Eye on Netflix.

Hot on the trail of the original killer shark comes something much less original. Is it any good? Not really. Did we enjoy it anyway? Depends who you ask. We're also talking about Mandy Moore(s) and Producer Ben waxes lyrical about Police Squad.

The original summer blockbuster, Jaws remains one of the Jables team's favourite movies. Join us as we get stuck into why this monster hit is such a classic.
