This episode feels like the right place to start because I want to explain why this podcast disappeared... and why it's back.
A few years ago, I stopped recording.
After more than 170 episodes, I realised something had changed. I was still talking about Instagram. Still sharing strategies. Still teaching the things I'd always taught.
But it didn't feel like me anymore.
Not because those ideas had stopped working.
Because I'd grown beyond them.
Somewhere along the way, I realised I wasn't excited by the conversations I was having. Recording started to feel like something I had to do instead of something I wanted to do.
So I stopped.
I stepped away and gave myself the space to ask a simple question.
What actually excites me now?
The answer surprised me.
These days, I'm still fascinated by business. I still love marketing. I still believe that helping people share what they know can completely change their lives.
But those things aren't the destination anymore.
They're the vehicle.
What I'm really interested in now is growth.
Growing as a business owner.
Growing as an investor.
Growing as a leader.
Growing as a person.
Because every time I've learned something new that genuinely changed my own life, I've wanted to pass it on.
That's what this podcast has become.
Over the last few years, life has changed in ways I never imagined.
I went from building an online business to creating over $3 million in sales.
I built an investment portfolio that's grown to over $1.5 million.
And somewhere along the way, I reached something I'd been chasing for years.
Financial freedom.
Not the version that comes with private jets or expensive cars.
The version where I get to choose how I spend my time.
Where work becomes something I choose to do, not something I have to do.
That shift changed everything.
For a long time, I was driven by fear.
Fear of not earning enough.
Fear of the next bill.
Fear that if I slowed down, everything would disappear.
Now the motivation feels different.
Now it's about impact.
It's about learning things that genuinely excite me and sharing them with people who want to build something meaningful of their own.
That's why this podcast has a new name.
This Way Up isn't about one platform or one strategy.
It's about the direction we're heading.
It's about building a business around your knowledge.
Creating financial freedom.
Making better decisions with your money.
Learning from remarkable people.
And continuing to grow long after the business starts working.
You'll still hear practical strategies.
But you'll also hear conversations about investing, wealth, mindset, purpose, relationships and the decisions that shape the kind of life we actually want to build.
Because success isn't simply about making more money.
It's about creating more choice.
And that's the journey I want this show to explore.
