Dan (Costa Rican Times) & Rico (qCosta Rica) start off hitting some hard hitting topics in regards to current news in Costa Rica, including the morning after pill, sex education, the cost of living in Costa Rica, Apple iPhone Frenzy, 2015 Marchamo, and Costa Rica Christmas traditions. This is followed by an interview with Jen Beck Seymour, "The Costa Rica Chica" who in 2013 left her cubical job in Dallas, packed her bags and her husband and headed south to Costa Rica. She and Dan talk about her new life in Costa Rica and what it takes to find your own "Pura Vida" lifestyle. Jen is the author of "Costa Rica Chica". This biographical book offers insight into what it takes to relocate to Costa Rica and what to expect if you decide to try life in the country. A great read about living and retiring in Costa Rica.

This week I welcome author Nadine Pisani to the program to talk about the ups and downs of expatriation and living in Costa Rica.
About Nadine:How many times have you heard someone say I’m quitting my job and moving to an island?
I did…sort of. I moved to Costa Rica, and although it is not an island I did find my own paradise.
I’ve been bitten by a bullet ant, slept with scorpions between my sheets, and hiked into a cave where a frisky crocodile was waiting for me. And you know what? It is still better than a day in the office.
