From the confusing reveal around Tech Fleece and his revenge plot to the questionable logic behind the entire hijacking operation, Ant & J debate how a show with strong production value and a legendary lead like Idris Elba could end up feeling so underwhelming.

This week we break down Episode 4 of Paradise, and the show continues expanding beyond the mystery of the bunker into something deeper. What started as a survival story is turning into a much bigger exploration of control, truth, and the psychological weight of living inside a manufactured world.

In this episode we talk through the latest revelations about the bunker’s power structure, the growing cracks in the system meant to keep everyone “safe,” and how several characters are beginning to question the reality they’ve been living in. As the layers start peeling back, it becomes clearer that the real conflict may not just be what happened to the outside world, but who is deciding what the people inside are allowed to know.

• The episode ends with a major twist: Stuart Atterton, the Season 1 hijacker, is revealed to be secretly orchestrating the entire operation from prison, using a hidden communication device concealed inside a bar of soap.
