God loves the world. The whole world. Like, the WHOLE thing! So much so that He sent His Son to redeem the world and give us new life. Because when we are alive in Jesus, we have the eyes of Jesus. And when we have the eyes of Jesus, we can see the world how God sees the world.

The Peake Youth teaching team got together and recorded our very first virtual podcast! This episode, Brianne, Michael, Maura, and Nate dig into 2 Chronicles chapter 7 and talk context, truth, hope, and GRACE.

Jonah had just preached to the people of Nineveh and experienced one of the largest, most incredible conversions ever. And yet, after all that, instead of rejoicing over all that God had done, Jonah sat back in bewilderment and frustration as God showed a brutal nation immeasurable love and mercy – the same love and mercy that Jonah himself had experienced. And the same love and mercy that God has shown us. How will we respond?

Finally, after running from God and spending three days in the belly of a fish, Jonah arrived at Nineveh. Nineveh was an impressive city in its day – a three-days’ journey from end to end. So Jonah started preaching, from one end of the city to the other. And something amazing happened. Not only did the people hear Jonah and cry out to God, but once again, God heard the people.
