Father’s Day

• U.S. Figure Skating Fan Zone did an interview with Ashley Cain and her father/coach Peter Cain

June - Pride Month

• Skate Canada will be hosting Instagram Lives with members of the skating community to acknowledge and celebrate Pride and Indigenous Month. It is called Community Voices and it will be hosted by Kaitlyn Weaver.

• U.S. Figure Skating continued its Instagram series for Pride Month. This past week, host Eliot Halverson interviewed adult skater Erica Rand, who teaches courses on race, gender and sexuality. 

• U.S. Figure Skating posted an article on trans female skater Billie O’Neel, who is sharing her story for the first time in order to help educate and eradicate many of the prejudices that have come to the forefront in society today.

• ISU updated the World Standings on June 17 and removed the 2019-2020 season points and reduced the 2020-2021 season points to 70%.

• U.S. Figure Skating announced that Camden Pulkinen will now be coached by Rafael Arutyunyan in Irvine, California and Alex Johnson, in New York City when he attends Columbia University in the fall. 

• Skate Canada International will be available for pre-sale on Wednesday, June 22 at 10:00 a.m. eastern, and on sale to the public on Monday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m. eastern.
