• The Japan Federation announced that Wakaba Higuchi is planning to sit out the remainder of the 2022-2023 season.

• U.S. Figure Skating and NBC Sports announced the schedule for the 2022-23 figure skating season.

• USA Today’s Christine Brennan posted that figure skater Bridget Namiotka, who came forward as victim of sexual abuse by John Coughlin died at the end of July. She was 32.
