General Skating News 

• The ISU Council met on October 6-8, 2023 and made the following decisions:
• Approved the Grand Prix calendar for the 2024-25 season.
• Approved the 7 Junior Grand Prix Figure dates and locations
• The status of preparations for the Winter Youth Olympic Games 2024 and the Olympic Winter Games 2026.
• A potential approach to facilitate music rights clearance.
• The next Council meeting will be an online meeting on November 28, 2023, and then there will be a meeting in the Netherlands in March, prior to the ISU World Short Track Speed Skating Championships 2024.
• The 59h ISU Congress will take place in Las Vegas, June 15-16, 2024.
