Tonight we kick off our series, On Point. A student's language is always changing. Students used to say 'cool', now they say 'lit'. Students used to called their peers 'friends', now they call them 'fam'. A common saying today with students is the phrase, on point. On point means to be perfect or to be awesome.
We’re using the phrase ‘On Point’ to be a description of the ROCK and our faith. We’ll be looking at Acts 2:42 as our example of a church that is ‘On Point’ and see what the believers did to be that way. Each week we’ll look at a different aspect of an ‘On Point’ church: fellowship, prayer and the apostle’s teaching.
This week we'll be focusing on the importance of fellowship in the life of a ROCK student. We'll see together that a life group will help us gather, grow and go.
