THORcast

A quick dive into the games I’ve been playing lately—what’s hooked me, what surprised me, and what’s been stealing my free time. Just a laid-back update on what’s been living in my PC/console this week.

From accidental tree hits to that glorious first “ching” of the chains, I’m taking you through my first year playing disc golf—rookie mistakes, surprise victories, and everything in between. We’ll talk about the sport’s wild history, tips for beginners, pro highlights, and why this hobby grabbed me faster than a disc in a headwind. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just disc-curious, this episode is all about fun, fairways, and flying plastic.

In this episode of Thorcast, I dive into one of the hobbies that shaped a huge part of my life — paintball. From the adrenaline of the game to unforgettable moments on the field, paintball was more than just a pastime for me. It became therapy after the military, gave me balance when I needed it most, and built memories I’ll never forget. I also open up about why I eventually had to step away — from personal reasons to the politics of the scene — and how life, family, and even podcasting rearranged my path. But paintball will always be a part of my story… and maybe, just maybe, there’s a return in the future.
