As students question whether the school still has a place in the modern world, a new student, a returning alumna, and the head of school each search for a way to transform its atmosphere before time runs out.

Can tradition evolve without losing what makes it special?

Can a struggling community rediscover its purpose?

And can the girls at the center of the story find their voices — and decide whether this is truly the place for them?
