I think we now have enough evidence to certify that the first option leads to death. Literally, Christian churches are dying out because they have lost their faith and their commitment to the truth. "Men, we need to make it a goal to be present. Whether that’s landing a job remotely to be at home with our loved ones, scaling back unnecessary hours in the office, or altogether discerning a different and perhaps more radical path such as a homestead, I would argue that as Catholic fathers and husbands, we will need to fight to be near our families, our homes, our domestic Church more. The goodness of the Lord dwells within our homes and families, and Christ is calling us to draw closer."

"It’s a very common thing for people in Church world to justify present courses of action by saying: “It’s always been this way” or “That’s just the way it is.” And we slap bible verses on our bland initiatives and bad websites and expect them to work like magic. Not good enough.

My question: Can we see/ask/demand like Elon? Can we do this as a Church? Can we ask the questions that no one else asks? Can we have a healthy aversion to the status quo? Can we make new what is old?"
