In this segment ThoseMovieDudes get together and shoot the shit over new mainstream films. Each week we will watch whatever new releases might come out in theaters, streaming sites or VOD and do a cute little review of them. Unlike the main podcast where we watch 3 acclaimed films, these ones may be a total dumpster fire. Theres only one way to find out and that's by sitting down and watching them, so you guys potentially don't have too.
This week was full of some not so mainstream new release films, but we watched them anyway. First we went along for quite the ride as Tom Holland plays a damaged orphan who enacts revenge on the corrupt individuals of a post World War 2 backwoods town in the Netflix Original, The Devil all the Time (Netflix). Then we hop on a plane over to Tokyo as Alexandra Daddario becomes an alcoholic and a submissive sex addict in Lost Girls and Love Hotels (VOD). We didn’t stop there. Lastly we follow a modern author who gets a horrible wake up call when she finds herself trapped on a plantation working as a slave in the horror/thriller, Antebellum (VOD).
Make sure to head over to our instagram @thosemoviedudes and give us a follow! Also, leave us a review on Podbean! Whether its good or scathing it would really help out the show. Thanks for listening!
