Volume 6 of one of Japan's greatest inventions, City Pop, is a tribute to a city that should be counted as one of the wonders of the world...the amazing city of Tokyo!

City Pop is a fusion of Western styled pop, rock, disco, funk, R&B, Adult Contemporary and yacht rock. This Japanese concoction had its heyday during the late 70s and early 80s, a time when Japan was riding high in its bubble economy.

And what better way to celebrate this music and city with some great tunes by artists that were a part of the electro-pop musical project, Yellow Magic Orchestra.
