Volume 9 of one of Japan's greatest inventions, City Pop, is a musical and visual representation of summertime in Japan! City Pop is a fusion of Western styled pop, rock, disco, funk, R&B, Adult Contemporary and yacht rock.

This Japanese concoction had its heyday during the late 70s and early 80s, a time when Japan was riding high in its bubble economy.
