I always told my kids when they were little, they would learn lessons in life maybe 16 or 26 or 36 BUT eventually, we learn a life lesson.

We are still learning lessons on this in our late 50s.

A soft place to land is when you can run to your partner with problems, and issues and have just been beaten up, are they there to soften the blow? 
Take into account on how we are there for each other, are you a good place to land?
