Dr. Lloyd is an assistant professor in the Department of Microbiology at the University of Tennessee. Her research integrates geomicrobiology, molecular biology, and geochemistry to determine how microorganisms influence marine geochemical cycles. The goal is to link uncultivated microorganisms to their geochemical functions and explore how these communities react to changing environmental conditions.

Jill Heinerth is a Canadian cave diver, underwater explorer, writer, photographer, and filmmaker. She is a veteran of over thirty years of filming, photography, and exploration on projects in submerged caves around the world. She has made TV series, consulted on movies, written several books and is a frequent corporate keynote speaker. Jill is the first Explorer in Residence for the Royal Canadian Geographical Society. She is also the author of Into the Planet. Which is an incredible read, and I highly recommend that you check it out. Her latest book is The Aquanaut.

I’ll be talking with James Poteracki. James is a grad student at the Wake Forest Institute of Regenerative Medicine. In undergrad he focused on Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a special interest in Human Physiology. As a grad student his research focuses on muscle cell regeneration. We also talk about the cutting edge bioprinting technology used to 3-D print biological structures and organs at the Wake Forest Institute of Regenerative Medicine.

T. R. Reid is an American reporter for the Washington Post, documentary film correspondent, and author. He has also been a frequent guest on NPR’s Morning Edition. At The Washington Post, he covered Congress and four presidential campaigns. He also served as the paper's chief foreign correspondent in London and Tokyo.

T. R. Reid has written ten books. His 2009 book "The Healing of America" became a national best-seller. Reid has also made 2 PBS Frontline documentaries which are, "Sick Around the World" and "India--A Second Opinion".

T. R. Reid's newest book: "A Fine Mess -- A Global Quest for a Fairer, Simpler, and More Efficient Tax Code" gives insight into how Congress can reform our federal tax system. I’ve read it, and I think it’s a really great book that provides concise information on all of the different tax regimes around the world in a unbiased way. You can learn about what other countries have done over the years, what worked and what didn't.

Dr. Angle, received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry in 2012 from Boston University School of Medicine. She holds a B.S. from MIT. In 2002, Dr. Angle founded Science from Scientists, a non-profit organization that focuses on improving Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) attitudes for kids. Dr. Angle was also Miss Massachusetts 2004 in the Miss America Scholarship program. She is the CEO and co-founder of Ixcela, a company that evaluates gut health and provides suggestions for diet and exercise routines to improve and maintain gut health.

William (Bill) Tuttle, DSc, MHA, LFACHE, served 38 years in various administrative positions with Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation, one of the largest not-for-profit healthcare systems in the United States. In addition, Dr. Tuttle was Chief Operating Office of Campbell Clinic, a national leader providing regional Orthopedic care. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Memphis, a Bachelor of Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma Baptist University, and a Master of Health Administration from Washington University School of Medicine. In 2017, Dr. Tuttle was awarded an Executive Doctor of Science (DSc) degree in Healthcare Leadership from the University of Alabama – Birmingham. Dr. Tuttle serves as a Commissioner and is the immediate past Chairman of the Accreditation Council of the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). Additionally, he is a current member of the Board of Directors for the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA). Dr. Tuttle was recognized as a 2014 Public Health Champion by the University of Memphis School of Public Health and is the recipient of the 2014 Joy Clay Outstanding Service Award from the University of Memphis Master of Health Administration Program. Dr. Tuttle is a Life Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (LFACHE) and received the 2016 ACHE Service Award as well as served as a faculty member presenting at the 2015 and 2016 ACHE Congress on Healthcare Leadership.
