Some thoughts on childhood (boating) and where we’re headed in life

This was recorded a few months after I arrived back from Semester at Sea a study abroad program that changed my perspective a lot to say the least. This is just a raw uncut conversation with myself at this point in time.

I believe the next 6 months of my life will change me forever. I will be experiencing so many new things, meeting people from all over the world, and be living outside of my comfort zone everyday. This is a reminder to follow that voice in your head before it's to late... Chase Your Dreams and Live Limitless

It's been a crazy week full of life lessons. This week has taught me to be greatful for every new day I get and the importance of finding happiness in the mundane things in life. This small shift in perspective has helped me find little pockets of joy in each new day and has made me dread the things I don't look forward to a little less.

Change has always been a hard thing for me to grasp. I have a tendancy to cling on to the past, but I've slowly come to learn that change is often a good thing. It brings about the next chapter of your life. Just because somethings ending doesn't mean you're leaving it behind. The lessons you've learned from each chapter stick with you and help you grow as you continue to write your life story.
