I was raised celebrating Three Kings Day or Dia de los Reyes Magos.  For this was the day the wise men went to meet the baby Jesus.  Tradition is to put some grass in a shoebox for the camels to enjoy after the long journey and in the morning you would find a small gift or candy.  

But, January 6, 2021 changed that as I watched an insurrection unravel before my eyes

So hard to believe that 20 years have passed since the terrorist attacks on our nation.  I was working in NYC at the time and remember it like it was yesterday.  We watched the events unfold before our very eyes and it still hurts today.  "Never Forget" - that is what we've said since that horrific day and trust me, I never have.  These are just some of my thoughts about that day 20 years ago...

Sometimes I think we've lost our compassion, we really need to find it again.  Grab a cup, subscribe and lets share our thoughts!

In The Heights and representation...do we need more? Yes...well then we've got work to do! Just some thoughts on how watching the movie made me feel and the heaviness of many that did not feel represented.  The door is open for us to do better and continue to lift each other up.

I was asked what I felt was  a slightly inappropriate question for a phone interview....I don't know...listen and tell me what you think.

Just a few thoughts about loss.  Been struggling with the very recent loss of a family member and still can't wrap my mind around it.  Also touching upon job loss, which is currently a part of my situation. We still have to try to find a silver lining, right? 

I am a Coffee Cup "Therapist" and Middle Child!  Never have I ever done anything like this, but I am a storyteller at heart, so here goes…hope you come join me!
