Someone sent me this grant opportunity from Cchange.xyz looking for "prototypes that utilize emerging technologies to enable cultural exchange." This exciting opportunity has inspired me to refine an idea I've been talking about over the last few weeks and months. I call it the Solarpunk Software, a tool to immerse people in visions for a better future. In this episode, I share the idea, the problems I want to solve, and various use cases.

Venting about my experience with an emergency vet visit. This brought to mind the myriad of issues with the healthcare system, capitalism, and resource hoarding in general. I then share some ideas on what we could be doing instead.

I'm working on a short story where I can explore ancient spiritual beliefs but through a science futurism lens. I share the background for that story and a bit about the plot. I also talk about some videos I've been watching recently.

Today I share some of what I learned from Lee Cronin's interview with Lex Fridman about the basics of life. I then share some startling paleoclimatology trends to try and sound the alarm about the danger of incrementalism and the need for radical change. Finally, I share my plan/strategy for change. Envisioning better futures is incredibly important, but what can we build today to bring us closer to those futures? I share some ideas around co-ops and upgrade squatting projects that should be viable even in the middle of capitalist cities. I also talk a bit about violence, immortality, and spirits from the far future.

Today I share some of my frustrations around trying to break out of poverty. But then I go into some worldbuilding for a Post-Civilization Solarpunk, anarchic world!!

Today I explore some alternative civilizations for humanity. After sharing some updates on my work, my frustrations living under capitalism, and my other projects, I delve into why we need to make a habit out of imagining a world without capitalism and hierarchies.
