Today I had the great pleasure of talking with Jodi Calahoo Stonehouse, MLA for Edmonton-Rutherford in the Alberta Legislature.
We started, and finished, talking about Kiwanis, covering a number of other areas inbetween.
All in all, a great and thoughtful conversation.
Today I had the pleasure of speaking with Métis artist, Krista Leddy, who specializes in beaded artwork, in a great discussion about the various aspects of Métis art.
Krista is well-known as the Beaded Chickadee, and she can be found on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter ("X"), and Tic Tok.
There comes a time for most of us that we realize that maybe, just maybe, we have too much stuff. Perhaps we're becoming empty-nesters, moving to a smaller place, or moving out of the country. Also we become older and don't want to leave a house full of stuff for our kids to figure out.
Whatever the reason, there will be some time when we have at least contemplate cleaning house, de-cluttering.
It's been a while since my last podcast, so am starting 2023 by talking about why that was so, and looking to the future.
Also, this podcast is available, with video, on my YouTube channel.

A few words in appreciation of those who work in various medical professions.
With the WINGMAN Campaign now completed, we visit with Rhonda Janzen from WINGS to find out how everything went.
Be it known, the campaign was a success, and you can listen to Rhonda talking about so many great aspects of the program.
While funds were raised by the WINGMEN they were matched, up to $20,000 by the EPCOR Heart & Soul Fund.
We also want to recognize sponsors of the program.

Here in Western Canada an annual occurrence is that Fall comes, the temperature drops and becomes necessary to heat our homes. This process is achieved by firing up the furnace.
Today, Rhonda Janzen from WINGS is back with me to talk about their WINGMAN campaign. This campaign is currently running in it's second week and I am participating in it for the second year, so watch for my photo.
Today we talk with Rhonda about WINGS, and how they support women and their families as they escape from domestic violence situations.
Rob Truscott and I talk about various aspects of having YouTube channels.
