In this episode I share a recent conversation I had with one of my kids in which we discussed how we are bombarded by worldly, anti-God ideas. In the past we could avoid these ideas or at least culture seemed to at least attempt to keep such things quarantined to a certain place and time; this is no longer the case. Now Christians must be actively alert to the traps because they are everywhere whether we go looking for them or not.

In Philippians 3:20 the Apostle Paul tells the Phillipian believers to remember their citizenship is rooted in heaven where Christ is and where He will return from. These truths are to motivate and encourage a certain way of life. Being a citizen of a country has various responsibilities and benefits. Being a Christian means having dual citizenship, where the heavenly/ eternal citizenship ought to make us the types of citizens that strengthen and impact our nations to the good of our neighbors and the glory of God.
