If 2020 was the year of self reflection, then 2021 was the year of reawakening and reinvention. Here are some of me thoughts on what I saw in Pride this year and what should move towards in the future. ***Season Finale*** See you in a few weeks!

I honest felt something come over me as I recorded this. With so much talk of what Pride is or is I was a bit overwhelmed and holding alot back... On today, the 5 year anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub Shooting, I felt the need to let it all out. Apologies, for any issues with the sound or general tone throughout. I wanted it to be as raw and unchecked with my emotions as possible...

Alot of members of the LGBTQIA+ Community have made friends during Pride. Some of those friends only last for season or until their deeper motivations are revealed. Then again, some become life long friends and chosen family. Today, my good friend Francisco Ariel joins me as we talk about our journeys through finding friendship within the LGBTQIA+ Community.

This will be Part 1 of 2. With all that week are seeing in the news, in the US and around the world, humanity is showing itself to be out of whack. Why you ask? Perception! Our views of the world are influenced by our "Cultural" environment. In this episode I am starting the conversation of those different cultural elements the shape how we view a move to the world engage with others so that we can really start having the conversation about what is the right way to move forward from these situations being brought to light.

I will start by saying this will not be some kind of #acab bashing of law enforcement. I have some thoughts, opinions, and questions I would like to put out there and see what can come of it. With everything being seen in the news, it is hard to not have police and civilian interactions (especially those with BIPOC and "questionable" methods and usages of force) in the front of our mind. I just want to give my thoughts and see what yours are as well.

We have all said or done things we regret. We all have strong opinions on certain things that could be looked at as questionable. BUT where is the line in the sand as far as the consequences.
