The Life of David — Part 3: Character in the Cave

David had been anointed. He defeated Goliath. He was on his way to becoming king.

But instead of a crown, David found himself hiding in a cave.

And sometimes, the cave is where God does His deepest work in us.

In 1 Samuel 24, David is given the perfect opportunity to take revenge against Saul—the very man who had been hunting him. His friends tell him, “This is your moment.” But David chooses restraint.

Because David understood something we often forget:

Just because a door opens doesn't mean God opened it.

In this message, we look at three questions that confront us in our own seasons of waiting, hurt, and frustration:

Will I take the shortcut or trust God's timing?

Will I defend myself or let God defend me?

Will I hold a grudge or extend honor?

The cave teaches us that God's promises don't give us permission to compromise our character to get there faster.

Sometimes faith looks like waiting.

Sometimes strength looks like restraint.

Sometimes victory looks like refusing to get even.

You don't have to force the promise.

You don't have to win every argument.

You don't have to get revenge.

You can trust God to defend you.

Because the cave isn't the end of the story.

It's where God is building the character you'll need for the crown.

The King Is Coming – Part 8 | The Warrior on a Horse

In Revelation 19, the story reaches one of its most breathtaking moments. Heaven opens, and Jesus returns—not as the suffering Servant, but as the victorious Warrior-King. Riding on a white horse, He comes as Faithful and True, bringing perfect justice, defeating evil once and for all, and fulfilling every promise He has made.

This message reminds us that the end of the story isn’t uncertainty—it’s victory. As followers of Christ, we’re called to live with anticipation, faithfully preparing our hearts while trusting that Jesus has already secured the ultimate triumph.

If you’re weary from the battles of life, discouraged by the brokenness of the world, or wondering if evil will ever be defeated, this message offers hope: the Warrior wins.

The King Is Coming – Part 7: The Cup You Choose

The world is constantly offering us promises of fulfillment, success, comfort, and identity—but not everything that glitters is from God.

In Part 7 of The King Is Coming, we journey through Revelation 14–18 and uncover the rise and fall of Babylon, the great counterfeit kingdom that competes for our worship. This message reminds us that every heart is drinking from a cup—whether it’s the empty promises of this world or the life-giving grace found in Jesus Christ.

Discover why God’s call to “Come out of her, My people” is not a message of rejection, but an invitation to freedom. Learn how to recognize the subtle ways our hearts can drift toward counterfeit worship, and be encouraged that the Lamb has already triumphed. Through Christ, we are called, chosen, and faithful.

No matter where you are in your faith journey, this message is a powerful reminder to put down the things that cannot satisfy, receive the grace only Jesus offers, and pour your life into what truly matters.

There is a battle happening all around us, and most people do not even realize they are in it. Revelation 12 and 13 reveal a cosmic spiritual war between God and Satan, one that directly affects every believer's life, family, and faith. Satan, having been cast out of heaven, now directs his fury at the people God loves most. But believers are not left defenseless. According to Revelation 12:11, we overcome by the blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony, and by living with fearless, surrendered faith. The blood of Jesus silences the enemy's accusations, our personal stories of God's grace are powerful spiritual weapons, and a life fully surrendered to Christ removes the enemy's greatest leverage over us. The invisible war is real, but so is the victory.
