Wherein the narrator tells a buncha rumors while trying to make a point about how hard it is to cancel his subscription to The Miami Herald.

Wherein the narrator talks for a couple minutes about DON'T BREATHE 2, and then about Derrida's crackpot idea regarding "center" spaces, and then about why he's never quite understood vacation.

Wherein the narrator talks for a while about things that scare him, like interviewing an estimable writer, and then goes on to interview an estimable writer, Margaret MacMillan, about her new book, WAR: HOW CONFLICT SHAPED US.

Wherein the narrator talks about the latest installment in the Halloween franchise, "Halloween Kills," and also about a boss who fell from grace, lecherous dudes in film, and those moments when your subject is larger than your occasion.

Wherein the narrator, after recounting the finer points of his favorite early Superman comic, talks with author Douglas Wolk about his new book, ALL OF THE MARVELS. Wolk read all 27,000 issues of Marvel's expanded comic book universe and writes, in his story, about the beauty of confusion, the maturation of the brand, and whether Stan Lee did in fact hate children (this is the host's contention, not necessarily Wolk's).

Wherein the narrator reacts to the SCREAM 5 trailer, and complains that it shouldn't called "SCREAM" (which is the actual title), and then tells a story about a very angry math teacher he had in high school, and how the teachers of "regular" classes were generally pretty shattered, emotionally; by the end of it he's remembering what it was like to buy VHS tapes on eBay, once the technology was obsolete, and then he shares some of novelist Mark Z. Danielewski's wisdom regarding fear and its adversarial/inverse relationship to knowledge.

Wherein the narrator whispers with undue stress about a long weekend he spent in a mansion.

Ehpooky Combersacion! by Alexander Sorondo

Wherein the narrator riffs about a president's first 100 days, phlegm and other fluids, and eventually gets pretty sentimental about the idea of having made a hundred of these things, and feeling a really sincere kinship with (and appreciation for) everyone who's taken the time to listen.
