I interviewed Laura Haehl. Laura has been on my spiritual path for over a decade. She's a Reiki Master, yoga instructor, and hypnosis therapist and practices cardology (the astrology and numerology of the playing cards) to help people access and trust their intuition, specifically by learning to make intuitive decisions. Laura states that we all have a hand we were dealt based on our birthday, and as we understand ourselves more profoundly will lead us to have more clarity around how we navigate the world. It helps us make more grounded decisions and feel more confident. Laura is planning a pilgrimage to experience the Camino de Santiago in Spain as a spiritual travel opportunity for those wanting to get deeper in touch with themselves and tune in to their intuition. This trip is scheduled for the fall of 2022 to walk for a week or so. Laura has a program to teach you ways to understand how to balance your chakras and how the chakras act as filters in which your experiences get 'trapped' energetically, causing you to react in ways you don't want to be reacting!

He and his wife spent 17 years living on a sailboat and sailing around the world. Along the way, they shared their lives with and learned from people of diverse cultures in over 100 countries. Rob’s entire life has been about following his passions. At age 22 he started his own film production company. Rob was living his passion and purpose and getting well paid to go sailing in Tahiti, film colorful religious festivals in Thailand, or go helicopter skiing with a camera in hand. It was a dream career come true, yet after a near-death experience that would have sidelined most people, Rob sailed away seeking even greater fulfillment. At age 42 he and his wife sold their home bought a sailboat and spent the next 17 years exploring the world.

Rob is an entrepreneur with his last company reaching a million dollars in sales 5 months after startup. His own businesses and film work with Fortune 500 clients across dozens of industries complement his life lessons learned from sharing meals with both billionaires and barefoot villagers on 6 continents. He has been married to Dee, his film producer, and life partner for 39 years. Rob Dubin has studied and mastered the art of human happiness.

I interviewed Charlene Madden. Charlene has admittedly spent most of her life living in a state of darkness. After experiencing over 9 years of sexualized trauma at the hands of her grandfather, a decade of domestic violence, and 3+ decades of mental illness and suicidal ideology, she was just 2 days away from taking her life when she attended a women's workshop where everything changed. She was able to take off her blinders, begin the healing process, and find her Purpose by turning her Mess into a Message of Hope, Evolution, and Transformation that she now shares with people all over the world. Charlene is a Mother of 3 amazing children, a wife, a daughter, a Reiki Practitioner, and a Women's Empowerment Coach.

After almost 30 years in the Food & Beverage Industry, Charlene made a shift and works now in a Mining Office, which allows her more time to follow her passion for creating platforms of healing for other women and men who may have shared similar experiences or who are ready to make a shift in their own lives.

I interviewed Marcia Morgan. Marcia has written over fifty business plans and helped entrepreneurs strategize on how to differentiate their companies in changing environments. After helping other entrepreneurs start their companies, she decided to found her own business consulting practice, Performance Architect, in 2012 and co-founded Positive Business DC that same year. 

Marcia suffered a major stroke in 2014. She applied those skills in planning and strategy as she strived to become whole. She never gave up. Over time she learned to walk again, but Marcia struggled with aphasia, a language disorder. She joined Toastmasters International® hoping to regain her speaking abilities. It helped some, but in August 2017 she discovered a technological breakthrough that minimized her speaking disability. She then pushed beyond her comfort zone to become a Toastmasters International Club Officer in 2017, then Area Director in 2019.  

Marcia created Stroke FORWARD because she felt there is a need to share hope with stroke survivors and their caretakers. Learning to become her own health advocate one step at a time and exploring holistic methods for healing are keys to her recovery. Marcia speaks and shares her message of hope, inspiration, healing, and a way forward as she goes across the country. She welcomes new opportunities to help individuals affected by major health crises move forward. 

Marcia holds a B.S. in Political Science with a magna cum laude from the University of North Dakota and a Master’s in Business Administration, from Chapman University, in California. Marcia attended school in Sandefjord, Norway to study art. She also earned a certificate in Well-being Foundations of Personal Transformation from the Personal Transformation and Courage Institute in Virginia. Marcia became a certified Health and Life Coach from Health Coach Institute in 2021.

Jonathan is passionate about raising awareness of the benefits of plant medicine therapy and its potential to improve well-being and mental health outcomes. As a result, Jonathan felt compelled to launch Behold Retreats in 2020, providing curated programs incorporating a memorable plant medicine retreat in a safe, legal, and highly supported setting.

Jonathan has spent his career working in strategy consulting with clients across Asia-Pacific, defining and delivering digital transformation programs. After several years in New Zealand, Jonathan moved to Hong Kong to work with Accenture and most recently lived in Bangkok as country manager for the boutique consulting firm Capco.

Jonathan felt that something intangible was missing despite an objectively great life, good friends, and career success. The retreat experience was transformational, and in his expanded state of consciousness, Jonathan was directly shown the mindsets and behaviors that kept him from reaching his potential. Returning to the corporate world, Jonathan was surprised to find he was more patient, empathetic, and productive than ever before and began researching the world of plant medicine and facilitating retreats.

Originally from Hawaii, USA, Jonathan is currently based in Bangkok, Thailand, often traveling to continue his research into the best plant medicine retreat centers worldwide. He enjoys yoga, meditation, and surfing and is energized by big, bold ideas.
