My interview with Tamara Jefferies. Tamara has her MA and is a Holistic Counselor and Transformational Coach. She has worked in wellness since 2005, counseling women, leading support groups for survivors of sexual assault, and creating empowerment workshops. She holds a Master's in Somatic Psychology from John F. Kennedy University, several certifications in the specialization of trauma resolution. In addition, she is a certified yoga teacher, all of which she has combined to create a multi-tiered approach to healing that honors the mind, body, and spirit.

My interview with Ben Ahrens. Ben is a semi-professional surfer, the founder of The Brain TrustTM. Ben's story teaches us about the power of the mind. He was bedridden for over three years with Chronic Neurological Lyme Disease, brain legions, along with many other health issues. He'd dedicated himself to living and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle as a trainer and an athlete until that time. But despite his best efforts and conventional medical treatment, Ben found himself truly stuck – unable to get better or make a full recovery. Then he came across neuroscience and the process of applying "neuroplasticity training."

At this point, a lightbulb went off in Ben's head where he realized the brain as the "chief orchestrator" of all mental, physical, and emotional processes. So, rather than seeking out further doctors to address his mysterious symptoms, Ben set out to heal himself and equipped himself with an entirely new approach.

In the years that followed, Ben sought out and consulted (and now works with) top neuroscientists and cutting-edge doctors from all over the world. His eventual success with recovering his health (Ben has remained 100% healed for over ten years now) led him to form The Brain TrustTM, which serves as the cornerstone of re-origin.

The Brain TrustTM group has developed a program and process capable of replicating these results at scale for various debilitating conditions.

I interviewed Tim McCarthy. Tim is an author, has a Master's Degree in Education, and is a Grandmaster rank in the martial arts. He has combined his years of experience as a classroom teacher and administrator (in public and private schools) with even more years of experience teaching and developing martial arts programs to create a simple plan for children's education. Tim has spent years researching developmental child psychology, chosen the best studies, and distilled them into simple, understandable language. He then drew on his vast knowledge of activities that help children become stronger physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Finally, he arranged them according to the capabilities of children at each age. His unique perspective combining Eastern and Western educational philosophy creates a powerful road map for raising balanced children in an increasingly unbalanced world.

I interviewed Kay Suthar. Kat is an author, entrepreneur, and podcaster. Her life goal is to empower individuals, entrepreneurs, groups, and businesses to maximize their potential and expedite their success by assisting in achieving their goals and improving their performance through various business strategies. She does this by creating the Uncensored Society for entrepreneurs and business owners to help them with the five main pillars of business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, leadership, and personal growth. Kay shared her story of transitioning from having several health issues at one time to moving from company to company before embarking on her own. Now she is running her very own business, coaching and training others. So successful are the methods Kay received a letter from the Queen of England advising her that her book was selected to be placed in the Private Royal Library. In addition, she was presented with an award for "The Authority in Inspirational Journey to Success" at her book launch in Toronto, Canada, for her outstanding contribution.

Kay was featured on TV in New York, MNN, Roku Channels, Footprint TV, Amazon Fire TV, Huffington Post, and iTunes. Magazine editors also approached her from One Tribe Magazine, one of the best personal growth magazine resources. 

Kay is involved in a fantastic charity called Bali Wise, located in Indonesia, where she also lived for two years. Katie Barbaro shares her breakthrough journey through eating disorder recovery, revealing how overcoming trauma transformed into her creative work as an author, comedian, and actor. In this interview, Katie opens up about the mindset tools that saved her—how she channeled pain into purpose through standup, illustration, and emotional healing practices. Discover how one earth-shattering breakup became the catalyst for her deepest transformation and awakening.

Katie is an author, illustrator, actor, standup comedian, and pediatric occupational therapist in her spare time. As she puts it, after an earth-shattering breakup and developing a full-blown eating disorder. She began her journey to achieve deeper alignment in her life. She talks about her battle with an eating disorder and how she incorporated her journey into her standup routine and worked tirelessly in her acting. After a time when she thought that her eating disorder was under control, it returned, causing her to redirect her attention to her mental and spiritual health. Katie then took some time to travel using it to gain a deeper insight into who she was as a human spirit. She believes that everyone is creative and that we’re all on a journey to letting our creative spirits shine through the distortions of growing up in a confusing world. Her illustrated and handwritten memoir about her journey of recovering from disordered eating and finding my true self is called “Fed Up: An Illustrated Guide to Food Freedom.” and is available now.
