This preview episode for Threads of Grace Season 4, introduces our theme “Beauty for Ashes.”  This program is part of the ministry of God’s Way Radio, and it is truly a joy and a blessed privilege to present this season. We’re going to have different ladies share their “Beauty from Ashes” testimonies, if you will. Together we’ll glorify God because only he can bring beauty from ashes and brokenness.
We'll start of with some of the ways the Lord confirmed our theme and different scriptures we can cling to during seasons of ashes and brokenness. Then, our host Elisha will wrap up the preview with a personal testimony of (Isel Vazquez) her mom's health trial with cancer before she went to be with the Lord. Finally, we'll hear a 2018 testimony in Mrs. Isel's voice-recorded before she passed away during a conference on the theme "But God"-her own beauty for ashes story.

As we close out Season 3, Jean McClure blesses us with her words and presence. She joyfully shares the ways Calvary Chapel began. In comparing our times with those of the early days of the movement, she mentions that our culture is not unlike the atmosphere when revival began during the Jesus movement. If living virtuously was possible amidst the turmoil, unrest, and moral depravity of the 60s, we can take heart that  despite the world around us, the Holy Spirit will work in us to make us more like Jesus, in whom we find every virtue! Let's listen closely to this final episode for Season 3.
