The crew returns this week to dissect a few hot button issues. This week, the docket includes the MLB moving the All-Star game away from Atlanta after Georgia's controversial voting rights bill and virtue signaling from businesses; Biden is mulling over using his executive power to forgive 50k of student loan debt per citizen, and Falcon and the Winter Soldier hits its stride as Marvel unveils a new trailer for Loki.
Why is this episode late? Let's just call it an oversight...
Anyway, in this episode, the guys return to talk about the disparities between men's and women's college basketball, the lengthy and confusing HR 1 bill, AAPI hate crimes and the first episode of Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Welcome back!
In today's episode, the gang is back to discuss Lil Nas X controversy, mass shootings and what can be done, the start of the George Floyd case, and of course, Falcon and the Winter Soldier's second episode.
Last week might have been a lot, so this week, Gaston, Barry, and Steve are back with a relatively light show. This time, the docket includes the Grammy's, the British Royal Family, a WandaVision retrospective and our expectations for Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Hopefully, everyone enjoyed the nerd-centric conversations of last week, because this time, Gaston, Steve, and Barry are back to discuss the absolute cacophony of news coming out of Congress this week. Among topics discussed are the Covid-19 relief bill, saying 'no' to $15 minimum wage, the WHO halting investigations on where Covid-19 came from, Texas (and other states) opening back up, and, of course, Coming 2 America and WandaVision.
This week's episode is surprisingly light-hearted... Instead of complaining about politicians, Gaston, Steve and Barry have a lovely conversation about some more nerdy topics. Discussions include black mentorship, Nintendo and Pokemon Directs, Playstation's fake version of Nintendo Directs, and, of course, WandaVision (spoilers by the way).
Gaston, Steve, and Barry are back once again to deliver this week's current events to you as only they can. This week they discuss Ted Cruz's abandonment issues and the crisis in Texas, the NBA's ill-advised all-star game, social media's ongoing discussion about who might be the greatest athlete of all time, virtue signaling and hypocrisy on social media, and WandaVision and hot it will impact the MCU.
The guys are back once again to discuss the current events of the week, this time with an actual, real-life guest! The intrepid group discusses the [failed] impeachment of Trump (again), the fallout from Gina Carano's unceremonious firing, the internet's lack of nuance, all the insanity surrounding Gorilla Glue and the latest episode of WandaVision.
Gaston, Barry, and Steve return after a week off (that Covid is a beast after all) to dissect some of the more noteworthy events from the past few weeks. There's a lot to get to, including Gamestop stocks (ugh) Congressional dishonesty (ugh), corporate pandering (ugh), Lil Uzi's forehead (uuggggghhhhhh), the Super Bowl and WandaVision (that one's cool).
Barry, Gaston, and Steve are at it once again, this time to discuss the mixed realities of life in Biden's America, Conor McGregor getting his butt whooped, black mentorship and responsibility, the problem with mass media, and more...
