Three Billy Goats Gruff is a classic tale about bravery and clever thinking. Three goats—a small, medium, and large one—want to cross a bridge to reach greener grass, but a mean troll guards it. When the smallest goat tries to cross, the troll threatens to eat him, but the goat convinces him to wait for his bigger brother. The middle goat does the same, promising an even larger meal ahead. When the biggest goat arrives, he uses his great strength to knock the troll into the river, where he is swept away. From then on, the goats cross freely, and no trolls ever return.
