“Three cheers for the attempt” (3 min)

Listen Later

In September 1981, David Morgan, and evangelist who has served the Lord in the country of Wales for many years, rose to his feet at the Larne conference and gave a report of gospel work in Pembrokeshire (West Wales). Going from village to village and from town to town, preaching and putting up tents, the work can sometimes be hard and lonely. At the end of his report he told a touching and memorable lifeboat story that no one present could easily forget. The story is a challenge to our interest and willingness to sacrifice and labour in the work of the gospel, and to leave the results with God.
