The boys are back again this week in true Halloween spirit fighting like 7 year olds over the best piece of candy on Uncle Dana’s front porch. Well Justin Geatje proved everyone in the world right (except of course Wes Edwards) by getting handled by Khabib Nurmagomadov in a second round submission loss. Michael Chandler, Connor vs Dustin, Frank Shamrock and Nick Diaz make an appearance in this weeks wide array of arguments, and for some reason Marc still thinks Chris Weidman is still deserves a title shot at 185. So get ready ladies and gents for some chaos, and of course we hope you enjoy the show!!!!

Questions surrounding the legitimacy of Teofimo Lopeze’s win against Lomachenko in possibly the biggest combat sporting event of the year have had fans worldwide going so far as to question the validity of the sport of boxing moving forward. We saw The Korean Zombie taking a hard loss  in a 5 round decision fight against Brian Ortega begging the question, Was this just a good matchup or did Brian Ortega make a statement that he is the next “guy in line”? Also boys and girls we are here on the precipice of one of the most anticipated fights or the year. UFC 254 is upon us which means… IT IS FIGHT WEEK!! Feel free to be excited.

The highly anticipated and greatly debated matchup between Justin Gaethje and Khabib Nurmagaomadov will be headlining the event with supporting acts including Robert Whittaker vs Jared Cannonier… a very interesting matchup,  Alexander Volkov and Walt Harris in the heavyweight division, and of course fan favorite and hero here on the show, Mr Smilin Sam Alvey will be looking to close the doors on a recent set of losses by shutting  out Da-Un Jung who is without a doubt a formitable opponent.

Israel had one of his best performances of his storied career, but was it enough to bump Anderson Silva from the middleweight GOAT status, and a new era begins at light heavyweight with Jan Błachowicz. How far can he ride this train? We wish Diego well but it's time to hang it up, and will Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier rematch outside of the UFC? Marc is finally honest about his disdain for Wes. Although hurtful, Wes and Marc can now grow from what seems to be a long journey of healing ahead of them. Trevor knows more than Marc and Wes and is clearly what keeps this podcast floating. So BYE BYE BYE! 

It's been almost ten years since Jon Jones first won the LHW title, and since then, it's either been him or Daniel Cormier holding the belt. A new era will begin Saturday night as a NEW LHW Champ emerges. As for the main event, this isn't about a title. It's 100% about legacy. Israel Adesanya has called out everyone in his division, the boys discuss who should win. It is a big UFC weekend, with a lot riding on the line. Do you know what else has a lot on the line?  Alistar Overeem seems to be getting better at age 40. Will he get a title shot from it? Angela Hill makes history this weekend by being the first black woman to headline a UFC, kudos to her for earning that spot and making all of us care, well done! Nate and Jorge are all but signed while Nate's older brother Nick is preparing for a comeback; who should he fight? How much time should we be watching MMA on any given week, day, hour? At 32, does Anthony Smith need to call it a day? We'll see. Neil Magney, the Haitian Sensation, makes Wes proud even though we all love Robbie Lawler, but can Robbie still compete at a championship level? And of course, Brock Lesnar is unfortunately still aggravating Trevor, or wait; maybe it was Jon Jones still getting Trevor all miffed up. Our thoughts are with him. Daniel Cormier is a beloved fighter, and we'll miss him as he rides off into the retirement sunset. Well done, Daniel Well done. So we had a little fun this last weekend at the Apex Center in Las Vegas. Your boy Frankie Edgar popped an LL Cool J and Said ‘DON’T CALL IT A COMBACK” WITH A SPLIT decision win over Pedro Munhoz. And what else? Well holy goodnight Shana Dobson stepped into the second round and decided to drop and Jon Hess Safta Bomb on Mariya Agapove like a B O S S, boss. It was probably inspired by Dwight Grant getting knocked back into 1982 by Daniel Rodriquez….  and for that Daniel you get on great big fat Michael Jackson Shamon!!!!
