Three Men and a Wargame

We discuss the end of Guild Ball. This episode was recorded a few days after the announcement but crazy life has kept the editing pace slow. We get into what was said in the statement from SFG as well as community reaction. We then get into the the validity of this as a strategy for gaming companies going forward. The episode is wrapped up with some game recommendations for displaced Guild Ball players.

Chopz has been bugging Potter and Paul to do this episode since social distancing started. Unfortunately games needed to be played so we have listened to Chopz talk about wanting to talk about this for almost three months. So this week we let him loose, and woo boy he did not disappoint. You are going to want to play Relicblade after this one. Good thing the cost of entry is low!

At Three Men and a Wargame we are heartbroken and troubled by the death of George Floyd. We believe Black Lives Matter and support those working to end racism.

We are also vehemently opposed to the abuse of power by law enforcement and the systemic racism that allows it to flourish.

The United States was built on the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. However, when the goal of law enforcement is to force  submission of the populace, these rights can no longer exist.

The African American community of the United States has been forced to be silent for too long. As a show of support, Three Men and a Wargame will remain silent for this week.
