  • Episode 15 - Being too much (is a reflection of others, not you)

    Welcome back Rebels!

In this episode of Three Rebel Souls, we unpack our experiences of being told or made to feel like we are "too much."

From childhood conditioning around emotional suppression and social niceties to dealing with how hyper-independence and confidence can threaten others, we explore the high cost of shrinking ourselves to fit in.

Join us as we revisit navigating perfectionism, learning the difference between modifying behavior versus abandoning who you are, reframing the idea of being "intimidating," and finding the courage to take up our full, authentic space.

  • Episode 14 - Boundaries (are still hard, but we're trying)

We've talked about people pleasing. We've talked about control. Boundaries was always next, because it's the thing hiding underneath both.

This episode we get honest about what boundaries actually are (a way to protect your own peace) versus what we were taught they were (either nonexistent or a weapon). We dig into the difference between setting a boundary and being controlling, why "no" doesn't need an explanation attached to it, and why some of our boundaries are loud and some are silent ones we never say out loud at all.

We talk about the guilt that shows up right after you finally say no. The Prentis Hemphill quote that changed how one of us thinks about this completely: "Boundaries are the distance at which I can love you and me simultaneously." And yes, we get petty. Don't touch our laundry. Don't show up unannounced. Don't call twice if it's not an emergency.

If you've ever felt like the difficult one for finally protecting your energy, this one's for you.

  • Episode 13: Control - the illusion of safety

Most of us don't try to control the room because we are power-hungry villains; we do it because somewhere deep down in our nervous systems, unpredictable equals unsafe. In this episode, we take an honest, unvarnished look at the sneaky ways control shows up in our lives, from optimizing vacation spreadsheets and dictating couch pillows to demand avoidance when someone tells us what to do and the fiery instinct to dig in our heels.

We unpack the visceral difference between clenching a fist and choosing to release our grip, how our hyper-independent habits masquerade as protection, and why surrender feels like waving a white flag until you realize present-day you might actually be limiting the magic future you could receive.

Whether your flavor of control is over-planning to prevent chaos or subtly managing perceptions so everyone stays comfortable, we invite you to pause, breathe, and get curious about the fear sitting underneath the reaction.

Grab your favorite beverage, take a deep breath, and join us for a raw conversation about trading the illusion of control for genuine inner sovereignty.

  • Episode 12 - People Pleasing
Oh Shit, I’m a People Pleaser

What happens when being helpful, accommodating, and “easy” becomes so ingrained that you don’t even realize you’re abandoning yourself?

In this episode, we dive into the messy reality of people pleasing; where it comes from, what’s underneath it, and what it can cost us: our boundaries, our intuition, our relationships, our joy, and ultimately, our sense of self.

We talk about fear, rejection, conflict, resentment, and the uncomfortable process of learning to trust ourselves again. Because choosing yourself doesn’t always feel good. Sometimes it looks like guilt. Sometimes it means disappointing someone. And sometimes it means saying no without explaining yourself into the ground.

This isn’t about shaming the ways we learned to survive. It’s about recognizing the patterns, reclaiming the power we gave away, and remembering that choosing yourself isn’t selfish it’s coming home to yourself.

  • Perfectionism (and how we're unlearning it)

    Note for the top:

Fair warning: we left the wildly messy beginning of this one in, on purpose. In the spirit of everything we talk about in this episode (imperfection over perfectionism), we didn't clean it up. If you want to skip past the chaos and get straight into it, jump to 5:02.

This week Erica, Adriana, and Stacey get honest about the thing that's followed all three of them their entire lives: perfectionism. Not the glamorized version that says "I just have high standards." The kind that freezes you before you start, or turns "do your best" into "anything less than 100% is garbage." The kind that convinces you it's safer to hide than to be seen trying.

They trace it back, where it came from, what it was actually protecting them from (hint: it was never really about the bathroom being clean), and how it quietly runs the show in ways they didn't even notice until they said it out loud to each other. Shame spirals, burnout, the mean voice that sneaks in disguised as frustration, and the very real fear of asking for help when you don't know how to do something.

They also talk about what it's meant to launch this podcast imperfectly and on purpose, why that's felt like relief for some of them and pure adrenaline for others, and why perfectionism and their core values (courage, compassion, sovereignty) simply can't coexist in the same space.

Plus: Adriana shares more about her Soul Reclamation Circle in Kula, a free space to show up as your unfiltered self, no performance required.

    In this episode:

    • Where perfectionism shows up in each of their lives, and what it was really protecting them from
    • The difference between "do your best" and the impossible standard they each internalized
    • Shame spirals, burnout, and the sneaky voice that hides under frustration
    • Why they chose to launch TRS messy and imperfect, and how that's felt different for each of them
    • Adriana's Soul Reclamation Circle, every other Monday at 5:30pm Eastern in Kula

  • Episode 10: General F**kery

In this episode of Three Rebel Souls we discuss our final value - the sacred silliness of General Fuckery and what it actually means to be delightfully unserious when life feels heavy. When life brings layers of grief, busy schedules, and intense transitions, humor isn't an escape - it’s how we survive and stay connected. From breaking the rules about how we’re "supposed" to feel to finding levity in hard transitions, join us for a candid, laugh-filled chat about embracing play, dismantling perfectionism, allowing ourselves to feel multiple things at once, and why humor is [maybe] our favorite act of rebellion.

    In this episode:

    • Why crying and laughing often share the exact same room
    • The secret rebellion of choosing joy, play, and humor in a productivity-obsessed world
    • Overcoming childhood messaging that told us to "stay clean and sit still."
    • The paradox of joy and why it’s okay (maybe even necessary) to crack a joke, fall on your ass, and laugh through the tough stuff.

Laughter isn’t a distraction from soul work - it IS the soul work ✨Come laugh with us.

  • Episode 9: Permission

    Welcome back Rebels!

Trusting yourself is one of the greatest acts of rebellion.

So many of us spend our lives looking for approval, validation, or reassurance from our family, our friends, or anyone who seems more certain than we do. We question our intuition, second guess ourselves, and wait for permission before making the choices that shape our lives.

In this episode, we explore what it means to trust your inner knowing, question the rules you never chose, embrace the freedom to change your mind, choose what feels true for you, and let go of the fear of making mistakes.

Because when you trust yourself, you stop looking outside yourself for permission. The only permission you need to live your life is your own.

What if you got it right?

  • Episode 8: Courage

What does courage actually look like when you’re not running into burning buildings or making some grand, cinematic life choice?

In this episode, we’re talking about the quieter kind of courage — the kind that shows up when you set the boundary, say the thing, try before you feel ready, or finally stop abandoning yourself just to keep everyone else comfortable.

We get into fear, perfectionism, people-pleasing, healing, hard conversations, and why “doing it scared” is annoying as hell because, unfortunately, it’s also true. Courage may not always feel brave in the moment. Sometimes it feels like anxiety, discomfort, rage, clarity, or a full-body “ugh, I guess we’re doing this.”

    But that’s the point.

We have no fucking clue what we’re doing, we’re a little scared, and we’re doing it anyway.

  • Episode 7: Truth

Welcome back to the Three Rebel Souls podcast! This week, we’re peeling back the curtain on one of our third core value: Truth.

If you’ve ever felt pressured to play nice, keep the peace, or just smile and nod when you really wanted to scream the truth, this episode is for you. We’re diving into why being "nice" is often just a performance, while being truthful, even when it feels awkward or messy, is actually the kindest thing you can do for yourself and the people you love.

In this episode, we chat about why we were conditioned to prioritize social niceties over honesty and how we're working to unlearn those "polite" habits, being kind vs. being nice, how using "my truth" can sometimes feel weaponized or manipulated, why we’ve chosen to keep our conversations raw and unpolished even if it feels a little messy, and using discernment about who we open up to.

We also get a little vulnerable about the struggle of managing other people’s reactions versus owning our own space, and why we’re perfectly fine with our podcast being a little "chaotic" because, well, that’s just life.

Grab a seat (and maybe a coffee) and join the mess with us. We’re so glad you’re here.

Coming up next: We’re moving from Truth to Courage—the natural next step in our rebel journey. See you there!

  • Episode 6: Compassion

In this episode of Three Rebel Souls, we continue exploring the values that guide our lives, relationships, and conversations by taking a closer look at Compassion. What does it really mean to lead with love for ourselves and for others, and how do we practice compassion without losing honesty, accountability, or healthy boundaries?

Together, we unpack the difference between being nice and being kind, discuss the importance of honest “fierce kindness,” and examine why self-compassion is often harder than extending compassion to others.

We wrestle with judgment, empathy, accountability, and even our reactions to people who cause harm, ultimately concluding that compassion doesn’t mean excusing behavior, it means recognizing our shared humanity while still maintaining healthy boundaries.

In a world that often rewards outrage and division, choosing compassion, especially toward ourselves and those we disagree with, may be one of the most radical forms of rebellion.
